combo pack

RC Addict now an Ottsix dealer!

Now you can get all those great Ottsix Voodoo tires from your favorite online RC accessory shop, RCADDICT.US!!!

Check out the brand new KLR tire that is stomping the Class 2 comp scene. This tire has been engineered from the ground up to be superior in every way to any competitor.

Wide foot print and awesome tread pattern means this tires clings to rocks like a fly, clean mud out like a hog, and deftly floats across sand and loose dirt like a lizard.

Ryan is personally running the blue compound on his C2 rig and smashed the 3rd Annual North Eastern Scale Top Truck Challenge with a 1st place win. He has been a diehard TSL XL user for the past 2 years, and this tire “blows away the TSL by miles, I’ve easily walked up lines that I could not make previously. It’s like the tire is covered in glue, it just sticks.”

Try some today!!/Ottsix/c/14971003/offset=0&sort=normal

Season Opener Tri State Scale Outlaws

TSSO logo

April 19th, 2015 was the season opener for the Tri State Scale Outlaws Summer points series ( This series is a string of 5 competitions spread the Pittsburgh, PA area. The beautiful and rolling terrain and plentiful rocks makes Pennsylvania a great place to hold scale competitions.

The weather was perfect for the event. I traveled an 1 and 45 minutes with my family to scenic Allison Park. The courses were nestled along a creek in a valley and featured a great mix of dirt, rock, mud, water and my favorite, hill climbs. There were many first time competitors at the event as well as many of the regulars this club is known for. Everyone of the club members was helpful and friendly and made the event fun to be out. My #scalerwife and I were happy to jump in and help judge.

We represented with our armored trucks in all 3 classes. I ran the Mootivator that I won in a St. Judes raffle for the very first time. It needs a few tweaks, but despite all the glitches I still managed a 5th out of 20 in Class 2.

In class 1 I ran my practically famous Red Dodge Power Wagon concept truck. It was pretty wild to meet so many new people who had watched the build videos on the truck and just wanted to ogle at all the cool features it has. I felt like a celebrity! The truck performed amazing as always, but unfortunately, driver error hit a gate and ended the day with 3rd place for an other wise penalty free day. I love the custom made bumper for this truck, it tucks in nice and tight to the body and doesn’t catch on anything, and the custom slider hide nicely up on the body and provide the perfect protection for all my custom styrene work.

In Class 3 I ran my old Bronco and I felt like I did horrible with it. Thankfully there were no time limits or I would have timed out, but I ended up taking second with it even with a couple penalties.

All in all it was a perfect fun filled day with my family and some really great people. I look forward to next month and more #tinytruckmadness with all #TeamScalerFab and #RCAddict !
